Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Albuquerque, NM: For smaller venues, this hotel is set up nicely, with the “New Mexico” adobe feel, and rooms a nice size for fewer than 100 people. Located on the access road of I-40, it is on the “main drag” of Albuquerque, and there are lots of things to do, places to shop, only a few miles from the airport, and a large variety of places to eat close by.

PROS: Nice rooms, very clean, comfortable beds and LCD wide-screen TV’s with desks and sitting area. Food prepared for conference was EXCELLENT and not the usual “chicken-something”; Courtyard area with beautiful landscaping available and a great place for social times; Has a restaurant and bar inside. Customer service was excellent—-our A/C was out and they immediately took care of it. Has a lot of atmosphere in that NM style.

CONS: Limited to smaller groups of less than 100, I would think; Not too many rooms to pick from; Don’t know if they provided the sound equipment or not, but it was AWFUL and never worked right; Large screen may have been provided by the organization, but maybe the hotel?

OVERALL: I would definitely recommend checking this out for smaller workshops, meetings, conferences, etc.
