I hope so. I am so glad to see that “beta” missing from the site URL.

One thing appears to be missing though: is it true that we no longer have 15 minutes to edit responses? I thought that was a great feature to have and seemed truly unique in comparison to other places.

As much as it scares me to say, I think this does mean we are out of beta.

(Not gonna lie, I really enjoyed the “we’re in beta” excuse when little things went wrong during our first few months.)

@Mike: Don’t worry, “15 minute edit” will be making a comeback in the very near feature.

Honestly, we’ve been busting it to make this release date, so there are a few things that were previously here that didn’t make today’s release. We should have everything back in the coming days.

The fact that you guys even care about “beta” or “edit functions” make me super excited about the community we have here. Keep the feedback (and criticism) coming!

My issue with ‘officially’ being out of beta for an application is that it means the app is done. Complete. Robust. Finito!

Well, that is definitely not the case! We want to improve, we want to make this thing better each and every day and we want you guys to tell us what you want to be able to make it better for you. And this isn’t an application that can just be ‘released’ but a community of people that connect/share/debate/review/learn from these interactions. Off my soapbox now, sorry.

So although the URL has changed to a more official ‘www’ we plan to live in land of try/play/fail/succeed/fun/beta land. :)

Hope that helps!

Brad, have you considered doing something like www.changeeverything.ca and stating that the site is in “permanent beta”, meaning it can change and improve at any time based on user feedback?

I think ‘organic community’ or that idea would play better than ‘permanent beta’ ... the beta conveys a lack of finish and oplish in my opinion where the organic growth would seem to convey that things will change, but more formally
