About Banktastic

Banktastic is very simply a “social networking & knowledge hub” for the financial industry. The Banktastic Community was created to connect bank & credit union people so they could easily share & find industry-relevant information. We’ve introduced ways for our members to share news with one another or ask questions and get real, helpful answers.

We wanted to introduce the financial industry to social media as it’s growing to be one of the most effective methods of communication. Our community is based around the sharing of knowledge with the hope that bankers will continually look to Banktastic as a source of information. We strive to provide our members with relevant content in ways that they can easily get involved.

The Banktastic Community was founded by members of The Garland Group, and was launched in its beta form back in late 2007. Banktastic was then re-released and opened to the public at the beginning of April 2008.
